The 2023 UK Half Sovereign Gold Coin is released in celebration of the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III and features the official crowned coinage portrait, by Martin Jennings. The reverse of the coin proudly exhibits Benedetto Pistrucci's renowned depiction of St George and the Dragon.
Weighing 3.99g and skilfully struck in 22ct gold, this coin boasts a fine gold content of 3.66g, attesting to its exceptional quality and value.
As British legal tender gold coins, these coins hold the distinct advantage of being exempt from Capital Gains Tax in addition to being VAT free.
